Assembler Position

Role: Assembler position
Location: Newmarket, Suffolk
Working hours: Monday to Thursday 8am - 5pm and Friday 8am - 1pm
Capacity of role: Temporary ongoing role
Rate of pay: Up to £16.10 per hour

Our client, a leading manufacturer, is currently seeking a number of assemblers to join their busy workshop-based team. Candidates will need their own transport due to the location of the premises.

Main Duties:

1. Combining parts and components to create finished goods.
2. Following specific instructions and guidelines to ensure the assembled products meet the required quality standards.
3. Inspecting the components and final products.
4. Identifying and reporting any defects to ensure only products that meet the required specifications move on to the next production stage.
5. Operating the machinery and equipment in the assembly process.
