A supportive and inclusive SEN unit within a Post-16 College in Ealing are seeking an Aspiring Speech and Language Therapist - Learning Support Assistant to work with students with severe needs including physical disabilities, behavioural challenges, and more. Whilst extensive SEND experience is desirable but not required, a strong knowledge and understanding of SEND and SEMH is necessary.
This College enables students with SEND requiring additional support to prepare for the next step of their lives, preparing students to become as independent as possible. All pupils are encouraged to develop life skills through IEPs and EHCPs whilst also getting a fantastic education. There are also opportunities for all students to participate in social and vocational programmes. You will be working alongside healthcare professionals and specialists including Occupational Therapists and experienced Learning Support Assistants.
As an Aspiring Speech and Language Therapist - Learning Support Assistant, you will have the opportunity to support students with a variety of severe learning and physical additional needs on a daily basis.
