Are you an aspiring primary school teacher looking for the opportunity to gain paid school experience through working as a teaching assistant? Are you thinking about commencing teacher training in September? Would you like the opportunity to secure a full-time graduate teaching assistant role at an outstanding Newham-based primary school?

This role would suit a graduate who wants to become a teacher and is looking for the opportunity to gain invaluable school-based experience ahead of teacher training. The successful graduate will be joining an outstanding Newham primary school that is committed to supporting graduates who are embarking on their teaching career.

You will need to be a recent graduate with some recent form of experience with young people. You may have gained this experience through voluntary school work, university placements, tutoring, or youth work. You will also ideally be an aspiring primary school teacher looking to develop existing experience ahead of teacher training.

As a graduate teaching assistant, you will be working in an allocated class within years 1 - 5 alongside an experienced class teacher. You will be supporting students within the class covering all areas of the primary curriculum.
