Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor
Location: Bellshill, Central Belt of Scotland
Salary/Benefits: £25k - £42k + Training & Benefits

Our client is an Asbestos company with over a decade of operating within the industry. They are seeking an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to cover a client portfolio of varying sizes and categories. The ideal applicant will be able to hit the ground running with their existing industry knowledge; however, they are open to candidates who are looking to train / gain more experience. Salaries and benefits are competitive and include overtime opportunities and a pension scheme.

The role will involve travel across: Bellshill, Motherwell, Wishaw, Shotts, Carluke, Larkhall, Hamilton, East Kilbride, Jackton, Giffnock, Clakston, Barrhead, Glasgow, Rutherglen, Cambusland, Paisley, Renfrew, Clydebank, Erskine, Johnstone, Linwood, Kilmarnock, Cumbernauld, Falkirk, Denny, Grangemouth, Bo'ness, Broxburn, Bathgate, Livingston, Dunfermline, Kirkaldy, Edinburgh.

Experience / Qualifications:

1. Must hold the BOHS P402, or RSPH equivalent
2. Has a proven record working as an Asbestos Surveyor, ideally for a UKAS accredited company
3. Good understanding of UKAS and HSG 264 guidelines
4. Able to produce high quality written reports
5. IT literate

The Role:

1. Completing management, refurbishment, and demolition asbestos surveys across a mix of sites, including: industrial, public sector, commercial, and domestic
2. Writing detailed survey reports, including floor plans
3. Safely collecting ACM samples from sites
4. Working to agreed deadlines and targets
5. Advising clients on highlighted issues and recommendations
6. Representing the company in a professional manner on site
7. Adhering to UKAS and HSE guidelines
