Job Title: Asbestos Removals Supervisor
Location: Swindon, Wiltshire
Salary/Benefits: £120 - £220 (day rate) + Training & Benefits

Our client is a well-regarded Asbestos Removal outfit, with a strong presence in the South West of England. Due to winning new contracts, they are seeking an efficient Asbestos Removals Supervisor to manage a portfolio of projects of varying value and size. Applicants must be able to demonstrate strong industry experience and knowledge and will need to hit the ground running. They are offering excellent day rates as well as benefits.

You will be travelling to client sites across: Swindon, Chippenham, Calne, Cirencester, Bibury, Stroud, Dursley, Thornbury, Yate, Bristol, Bath, Melksham, Portishead, Clevedon, Radstock, Warminster, Weston-super-Mare, Gloucester, Cheltenham, Worcester, Evesham, Chepstow, Newport, Cardiff, Pontypool, Wells, Glastonbury.

Experience / Qualifications:

1. Must have a successful record overseeing Asbestos Removals Projects of varying size
2. It would be beneficial to hold: CSCS card and Asbestos Supervisor Ticket
3. Excellent organisational and time-management skills
4. Good experience of managing teams and delegating works effectively
5. Strong literacy and IT skills
6. Conversant in industry guidelines and safety protocol

The Role:

1. Managing teams of Asbestos Removal Operatives in order to successfully complete projects
2. Overseeing the ordering of materials and hiring/off-hiring of equipment
3. Ensuring projects run to agreed deadlines and budgets
4. Completing project documents and keeping accurate records of works undertaken
5. Working in accordance with RAMS
6. Training and supporting new members of staff
7. Liaising with sub-contractors
8. Travelling to client sites to inspect sites before works begin
9. Maintaining strong lines of communication with clients and answering any technical queries.
