Location: Northampton

Salary: £45,000 - £52,000

What is an Asbestos Operations Manager?

As an Asbestos Operations Manager, you will oversee the safe and compliant removal of asbestos, ensuring projects adhere to regulatory standards. You will manage and train a team of 15-20 members, enforce health and safety protocols, and maintain accurate project documentation. Your role also involves coordinating with clients to meet project requirements and ensure satisfaction.

What qualifications do I need to apply for this Asbestos Operations Role?

Necessary:

1. P402 and P405 qualifications
2. 8+ years of experience in the Asbestos Industry

Responsibilities:

1. Operational Performance: Ensure the achievement of all agreed operational performance targets in accordance with key business objectives, service plan objectives, and contractual obligations with each client.
2. Commercial Performance: Ensure the achievement of all agreed financial performance targets (turnover, gross profit, and net profit) in accordance with key business objectives and service plan objectives.
3. Customer Relationship Management: Foster positive, productive, and long-lasting relationships with each client. You will be the main operational point of client contact and have responsibility for providing advice to clients on all aspects of asbestos management and for managing the relationship and contract with each client.
4. Health & Safety: Embed a strong health and safety culture within the field-based team through appropriate induction and ongoing training and briefings.
5. Management Information: Produce appropriate standardized monthly management information for the team (balanced scorecard) and for all clients (KPI reports) to ensure we meet all contractual targets.
6. Auditing: Support the delivery of robust auditing processes and instill a compliance culture within the field-based team.
7. Advice and Consultancy: In conjunction with the Head of Asbestos and Technical Manager (Asbestos), provide advice, consultancy, and training to clients.
