Responsibilities
Develop and deliver engaging art lessons to students in line with the national curriculum
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where students can explore and express their creativity
Provide constructive feedback and support to students to help them develop their artistic skills and techniques
Plan and organize art projects and exhibitions within the school and local community
Collaborate with colleagues to integrate art education into cross-curricular activities
Assess and evaluate students' work, providing meaningful feedback and tracking their progress
Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding their children's artistic development and achievements
Minimum Requirements
Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent Art teaching qualification
Proven experience teaching art to primary or secondary school students
A passion for art education and a deep understanding of the national curriculum
Strong artistic skills and techniques across a range of mediums
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to inspire and motivate students in their artistic journey
Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students
Salary
