In the Borough of Barking & Dagenham, an 'Outstanding' Secondary School is on the hunt for an Art Teacher / Art ECT for an April or September 25 start. This is a permanent, full-time contract. The Head Teacher is looking for an ambitious Art Teacher / Art ECT who is keen to add value to an expanding Art Department. The School is renowned for its supportive SLT and impressive Progress 8 results across all subjects. The School is well-invested in the Education sector, setting new teaching practices and training their own and new staff. It's an exciting time at the School!

Experienced Art Teachers can take on a TLR such as KS3 Coordinator, Pastoral Responsibility, and more. Newly Qualified Art Teachers (ECT) will be enrolled onto the School's bespoke ECT induction and will work alongside a range of young & experienced Art Teachers.

Art Teacher / Art ECT

1. Inspiring and motivating the younger generation
2. Working alongside a team of fantastic Art Teachers
3. TLR Opportunities: KS3 Coordinator and Pastoral Responsibilities
4. ECTs welcome: 1:1 Mentor, bespoke ECT induction, In & out of house training and more
5. April/Sept 25 start - Full Time & Permanent
6. MPS1-UPS3 - £36,745 - £56,959 + TLR
7. Located in the Borough of Barking & Dagenham

PERSON SPECIFICATION

1. Must have UK QTS or be in the process of gaining
2. Strong academics across the board - Degree, A Levels, and GCSEs
3. Must be meeting the 8 Teaching Standards to a 'Good or Outstanding' level
4. You must be able to work as part of a large team of Art Teachers
5. Must be willing to listen to feedback
