Art Teacher

Blues Skies Education is looking for an outstanding art teacher who may be available for the spring term 2025. We are working with a mainstream secondary school in North London to appoint a long-term supply art teacher. The school is a highly enjoyable place to work and teach.

Ideally, we are looking for an art teacher with a recognised teaching qualification; however, we will consider an unqualified applicant who offers significant experience teaching art in a similar setting.

You will need:

• A sound knowledge of the national curriculum for Art & Design at Key Stage 3 & 4
• The ability to engage with and teach outstanding lessons to 25-30 students per class within the KS3 & 4 cohorts
• A proven track record of making good progress with your learners
• To be a dynamic and inspirational teacher and mentor
• To be available from January 2025 to April 2025
• A complete understanding of how to Keep Children Safe in Education
• A fully enhanced DBS, proof of right to work, and valid references in line with your CV

Salary: £150 - £245 per working day (dependent upon experience and qualifications)
