A Good Secondary School based in Barking and Dagenham is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Art Teacher to start in April.

This Community school located in the borough of Barking & Dagenham is looking to recruit an Art Teacher to join their team from April. The school has the highest expectations and ambitions for every student. Through a large investment, the school has recently completed their rebuild and the facilities are fantastic.

This larger than average school is very supportive of their staff and is always trying to better their expertise. Having been graded Good in their last Ofsted, it was stated that "Leaders make sure that staff benefit from quality training to help them to contribute towards the school's priorities. From their monitoring, leaders identify the personal training and development needs of members of staff, which they then fulfil."

The school has great public transport links nearby with a railway station and tube station both only a 10-minute walk from the school.

ART TEACHER:

Here lies the opportunity to join not only a great school but a very successful Art and Design Technology department. The facilities are second to none, and the department is situated in a purpose-built suite of workshops and design studios which are equipped for working in the full range of design and technology disciplines. Throughout the department, there is a wide range of experience and skills, resulting in continual year-on-year increases in their GCSE, BTEC, and A-Level results. The quality of the students' work in all areas is of the highest standard, and the department works very closely together to find innovative ways to ensure that students are provided with the skills and support to achieve success.

This school is looking for an Art Teacher who is able to teach Graphics, to start in April and will be covering a year-long maternity leave.

To be considered for this Art Teacher role you must have:

1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
2. PGCE in Design Technology/Art
3. Experience teaching Graphics and/or Art
4. The desire to join a very successful department and school
