Job Description

CCP Games is on the lookout for a talented and driven Art Producer to join our London team, building EVE Vanguard. We're a close-knit group dedicated to redefining the EVE Online universe using Unreal Engine 5.

In this pivotal role, you'll work closely with our art team and coordinate with outsourcers to bring Planets in New Eden to life. Reporting to the Development Director, you'll have the opportunity to refine your leadership skills, building strong relationships and collaborating across various disciplines within the team.

Your responsibilities:

  1. Understanding and aligning the team with the creative vision, identifying gaps, and taking action to address them.
  2. Oversee and drive the planning, scheduling, and delivery of the art assets, ensuring they are completed on time and to the desired quality standards.
  3. Foster a collaborative environment by working closely with other departments such as design, development, and product to ensure cohesive integration of art assets into the game.
  4. Schedule and conduct regular review sessions with the art team to evaluate progress, address any issues or concerns, record actions and follow up on their implementation.
  5. Manage resources effectively, including staffing needs and outsourcing partnerships, to optimize the production pipeline to meet the project goals.
  6. Identify potential risks and challenges in art production and implement proactive measures to mitigate them, ensuring smooth project execution.
  7. Facilitate clear and effective communication within the art team and across other departments, ensuring everyone is aligned on project goals, timelines, and expectations.
  8. Address any issues or obstacles that arise during the production process, utilizing creative problem-solving skills to find practical solutions while maintaining project objectives.

Your profile:

  1. Experience in making games.
  2. Experience with the end-to-end process of asset creation including environments, props, characters, concept art, animation, VFX, lighting, and supporting tech art.
  3. Experience and knowledge of how creatives work, think and communicate.
  4. Strong organizational skills.
  5. Experience with a range of production tools (Jira, Excel, Miro).
  6. Experience of Agile, Kanban, and Waterfall methods.
  7. Ability to build, track and maintain schedules.
  8. Great negotiation skills.

Desirable Skills:

  1. You understand creative processes.
  2. Multiplayer FPS experience.
  3. Familiarity with the EVE Universe.
