Salary: £30,000 - £46,535 per annum (Depending on experience)

Role Overview

As an Art and Design (AD) Teacher, you'll ignite creativity and cultivate a passion for art in your students. You'll deliver top-tier art education, design captivating and impactful lessons, and collaborate with a team of dedicated professionals. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver captivating Art and Design lessons tailored to the diverse needs and abilities of students, ensuring all students are engaged and challenged.
  • Teach various art-related subjects to students aged 11-16.
  • Organise and oversee extracurricular art activities and events, promoting enthusiasm and creativity for the subject.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adjust teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and encouraged to participate.
  • Ensure health and safety in all activities, evaluating the importance of safe practices.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teaching Status (QTS), Early Career Teacher (ECT), or equivalent certification.
  • Proven experience in teaching Art and Design.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • The ability to inspire and motivate students to excel in Art and Design.
  • Dedication to promoting a passion for art and a curiosity about artistic expression.
  • Ability to provide a ten-year career history with relevant reference details covering the last two years, including your most recent place of academic employment.
  • Experienced Teaching Assistants (TAs) are also encouraged to apply.
