About the Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative Art and Design Teacher to join our dynamic and passionate team at a secondary school. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and innovative lessons to students at Key Stage 3, 4, and 5, covering a wide range of artistic disciplines including drawing, painting, sculpture, and digital design. The role offers an exciting opportunity to inspire students to explore their creativity and develop a lifelong passion for the arts.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in Art and Design at KS3, KS4, and KS5.
  2. Develop a creative and inclusive curriculum that promotes student engagement and progress.
  3. Assess, track, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
  4. Encourage students to explore and express their creativity through various media and techniques.
  5. Contribute to the wider school community, including art exhibitions and extracurricular art-related activities.
  6. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall teaching experience within the department.
The Ideal Candidate:
  1. A qualified teacher with a degree in Art, Design, Fine Art, or a related field.
