Area to be covered: South East

Remuneration: £45,000 - £50,000 + 30% bonus of basic salary

The role of the Area Sales Manager - Floor, Wall & Roof Insulation will involve:

1. Field sales position selling a high-end range of manufactured specialist EPS insulation systems for walls, floors, and roof applications such as suspended floor insulation and cavity wall insulation.
2. 50% of your time will be spent getting products specified via regional and national housebuilders dealing with technical managers and directors (20+ plots).
3. The remaining 50% of your time selling to groundworkers and groundwork contractors.
4. Managing relationships and back selling through independent merchants.
5. Working alongside other structural/concrete product manufacturers to sell the specialist insulation as part of a packaged system.
6. Taking over a territory turning over circa £4m.
7. Dealing with order values ranging from £1k - £100k.
8. The majority of your time will be spent managing existing relationships with the top 20 housebuilders whom the business already works with throughout the UK while developing regional relationships in this territory.
9. Working alongside the internal sales support and providing on-site support for larger projects.

The ideal applicant will be:

1. Open in terms of what building products you've sold.
2. Ideally have sold to groundworkers or housebuilders (ideally both).
3. Consider something working for a merchant dealing with contractors, for example: Keylite and Jewson Civils.
4. Ideally have sold a heavyside building product or civils such as landscaping, paving, concrete, render, EPS, insulations, bricks, blocks, readymix, insulation.
5. Have a demonstrable track record of selling to and opening up relationships with national housebuilders & regional housebuilders (not essential).
6. Smart and presentable in appearance.
7. Able to sell on a technical basis.
8. Hungry, enthusiastic, and passionate about the products.
