Remuneration: £50,000-£55,000 + commission & bonuses

The role of the Area Sales Manager – Exterior Lighting Products will involve:

1. Field sales position selling a manufactured range of exterior lighting, electrical components and equipment
2. Selling into local authorities, street lighting consultants and street lighting contractors predominantly but also some large retailers e.g. Tesco
3. Mix of developing existing customers and new business development
4. Targeting projects up to the values of £300k
5. Attend ILP/ HEMSA and other relevant meetings/ exhibitions
6. Assist with business planning and strategy
7. Working alongside one other field sales person covering the South East

The ideal applicant will be Area Sales Manager – Exterior Lighting Products with:

1. Outdoor lighting/ exterior lighting field sales experience
2. Ideally sold exterior/ road lighting to local authorities
3. Would consider associated electrical products person selling to local authorities, electrical contractors and electrical consultants
4. Ideally in the exterior lighting industry however open in terms of what electrical products you’ve dealt with
5. Personable, team player, people person, driven and enthusiastic
