Job Title: Area Sales Manager

Metering / Energy Efficiency

Industry Sector: Energy Efficiency, Metering, Floor Boxes, Storage Boxes, Building Services, M&E Contractors, Main Contractors, Switchgear, Circuit Protection, Panel Builders, System Integrators, OEMs, End Users, Data Centres, Consultants, Low Voltage, Sales, Area Sales, Sales Engineer, Technical Sales

Areas to be covered: 50% London, 50% Midlands & South

Remuneration: £49,000 neg + 25% bonus

Benefits: £568 car allowance & AXA healthcare, BUPA dental, 25 days holiday, private pension etc.

The role of the Area Sales Manager:

Metering / Energy Efficiency will involve:

  1. Field sales position selling technical energy efficiency systems, specifically metering systems to data centres.
  2. Influencing end users (predominately data centres) and consultants.
  3. Initially targeted on KPIs / CPD rather than turnover as project cycles are 18 months+.
  4. Providing quotations for energy efficiency tenders.
  5. Systems integrator programme management.

The ideal applicant will be:
  1. Area Sales Manager with sales experience in the energy efficiency systems.
  2. Experienced in metering.
  3. Experienced in dealing with data centres.
  4. Driven and self-motivated.
  5. Personable, team player, enthusiastic.
