This role offers flexibility with the opportunity to work remotely, allowing you to manage your own schedule and work-life balance. You will be expected to conduct regular client visits, meeting with both existing and potential customers to identify needs, offer solutions, and build strong relationships. While you will be primarily working independently, you will report directly to Alex Lewis, ensuring clear communication and alignment with business objectives. Regular check-ins and updates will be expected to ensure progress is on track and targets are being met.

Position Summary

As the Area Sales Manager for Swegon ACH Business Unit, you will play a crucial role in increasing the visibility of the Swegon brand and expanding the market share of all product ranges. The role is primarily focused on 80% account management, ensuring the continued satisfaction and growth of existing clients, while 20% will be dedicated to driving new business. The company will provide the resources to identify targets and sectors for growth.

In this role, effective communication and relationship-building are key. You will need to work closely with internal teams, customers, and external partners, motivating and engaging others while adhering to company guidelines and policies. A friendly, approachable, and persuasive communication style is essential to success, as you’ll be guiding clients and stakeholders through the company’s products, programs, and processes. This position requires quick thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining excellent relationships with key clients. As you manage your own accounts and work towards company targets, you’ll need to deliver results on time and with precision.

Main duties and responsibilities
  • Drive sales of Swegon products and services within the HVAC and Building Services sectors, particularly targeting M&E consultants.
  • Promote the full range of Group services, including maintenance, service, and hire solutions.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets set on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Manage and develop relationships with both new and existing accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Meet with clients regularly to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions, leading to new business opportunities.
  • Provide expert technical advice and support to clients, helping them make informed decisions.
  • Deliver technical presentations to consultant groups, showcasing the company’s product offerings.
  • Participate in sales meetings to provide updates on regional activities and key strategic insights.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the company’s sales database, tracking customer interactions, contacts, and activities.
  • Split work time between home-based and client-facing activities, with one day working from home and the remainder spent engaging with clients.
  • Ensure all client communications and interactions are handled professionally, meeting or exceeding their expectations.
  • Address client inquiries and requests promptly, ensuring effective and efficient responses.
  • Ensure proper documentation is provided for all activities, adhering to company standards and compliance requirements.
About You

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic, and proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. You have a proven track record of achieving results and are capable of identifying opportunities to develop new business, turning them into successful sales. With strong attention to detail, you are able to meet deadlines while maintaining high standards in all areas of your work.

You possess excellent communication and influencing skills, allowing you to build and maintain strong relationships across all levels of business—from junior staff to senior executives. Your methodical approach to problem-solving and information gathering ensures you manage your time and territory effectively, while your proactive attitude means you’re always ready to take on new challenges and responsibilities.

As a team player, you know the importance of collaboration, and you’re comfortable working with others to achieve shared goals. You lead by example and are willing to roll up your sleeves to help when necessary. Your strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize tasks, and decision-making capability ensure you excel in managing multiple projects simultaneously.

In addition, your ability to work within established guidelines and procedures, while remaining adaptable and responsive, helps maintain a positive work environment where open communication and consensus-building are key. Above all, your enthusiasm and tenacity drive you to consistently exceed expectations and deliver results.
