The successful Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager will focus on developing new business opportunities and managing key accounts for mechanical engineering equipment such as pumps, valves, pipework, and other related products/systems.

Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager Role
Develop new business opportunities and manage key accounts for mechanical engineering equipment such as pumps, valves, pipework, and other related products/systems.
Maintain pump product and system sales with demonstration, exhibition, and negotiation to achieve targets.
Responsible for pre-sales technical assistance as well as providing end solution/application support for all customer needs/requirements.
Provide after-sales support services and technical backup as required to customers within a variety of industries such as energy from waste, chemical, water, pharmaceutical, steel, and more.
Work remotely/field-based covering North Scotland with regular visits to customer sites.
Liaise with various engineering departments.
Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager Requirements
Experience as a Key Account Manager, Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Engineer, or similar within a mechanical engineering environment.
Experience selling or managing key accounts for mechanical engineering-related equipment such as hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, compressors, valves, pipework, and/or similar products/systems is highly desirable. However, having sold similar mechanical products into related industries is also of interest.
Full clean driving license.
Willingness to operate remotely with travel to customer sites across the North of Scotland.
