Job description

Job Title: Area Sales Engineer

Location: Covering the Southern Counties of the UK

Salary: GBP40,000 - GBP45,000 per annum + OTE 10-20% Bonuses + Company Car

Job Type: Full-time/Permanent

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Develop new business by identifying and selling to prospects.
  2. Follow up on leads generated by company marketing, increasing brand awareness of Drive Lines Technologies and the brands it promotes.
  3. Meet agreed sales targets.

Job Duties:
  1. Identify business opportunities by evaluating potential users of automation equipment.
  2. Sell products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects; demonstrating the product and using backup technical support.
  3. Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance.
  4. Ensure competitiveness by remaining current on industry trends and market activities.
  5. Maintain our CRM system with all visit and contact notes.
  6. Prepare quotations for our automation solutions.
  7. Stand manning at relevant trade fairs.
  8. Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
  9. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending training.
  10. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  11. Co-operate within the team environment.
  12. Technical experience with products including mechanical screw jacks, linear actuators, industrial gearboxes, and other mechanical components is a major advantage.
  13. Ideally located in the Southern counties and at least South of Bedfordshire.
