Job description

Job Title: Area Sales Engineer

Location: Covering the Southern Counties of the UK

Salary: 40,000 - 45,000 per annum + OTE 10-20% Bonuses + Company Car

Job Type: Full-time/Permanent

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop new business by identifying and selling to prospects.
  • Follow up on leads generated by company marketing, increasing brand awareness of Drive Lines Technologies and the brands it promotes.
  • Meet agreed sales targets.

Job Duties:

  • Identify business opportunities by evaluating potential users of automation equipment.
  • Sell products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects; demonstrating the product and using backup technical support.
  • Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance.
  • Stay current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
  • Maintain our CRM system with all visit and contact notes.
  • Prepare quotations for our automation solutions.
  • Man the relevant trade fairs at which Drive Lines Technologies exhibits.
  • Ensure quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending training organized by the company.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Cooperate within the team environment.
  • Technical experience with products including mechanical screw jacks, linear actuators, industrial gearboxes, and couplings is a major advantage.
  • Ideally located in the Southern counties, at least South of Bedfordshire.
