Area & Quality Manager
GBP60,000 + Bonus
Full Time – Mon–Fri
Kent & Sussex

Harry at Amber Mace is working with a specialist mental health care provider seeking an experienced Area and Quality Manager to oversee multiple residential and supported living services across Kent, Medway, East Sussex, and West Sussex. This role focuses on regulatory compliance, quality assurance, service audits, and operational excellence, reporting directly to the Managing Director.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct comprehensive service-wide audits every six months, ensuring compliance with CQC standards.
  2. Directly manage and support the Service Managers, overseeing staff development and performance.
  3. Drive occupancy maximisation and business development across all services.

Requirements:
  1. QCF Level 5 (or equivalent) qualification.
  2. 3+ years Registered Manager experience, overseeing multiple sites.
  3. Strong background in quality assurance, auditing, and achieving Good CQC ratings.
  4. Full knowledge of CQC regulations, SOVA, DoLS, and adult protection policies.
  5. Experience managing Registered Managers and working in residential care settings.
  6. Full UK driving license and willingness to travel.

Bonus:
  1. Experience with mental health service users.
  2. Proven track record in business development and occupancy management.
