Area Lead Process Engineer (Client side) - Staff - London
Location: London

Role & Responsibilities

1. Overseeing and co-ordinating deliverables of FEED contractor.
2. Ensuring design specifications of the main contractor and as per agreed company specifications and ensuring any amendments are incorporated in line with company/project requirements.
3. Manage and lead Client's own team of Process Engineers.
4. Undertake work on client site as required, providing technical advice and operational support services.
5. Support the development of the scope of work/basis of design for studies and projects.
6. Checking the quality of FEED contractor/s design work to ensure compliance with agreed client design specifications.
7. Supporting the vendor management and selection process.
8. Perform safety related calculations and provide input to safety reviews - What If, Hazop SIL Assessment, etc.
9. Undertake short and long-term business travel in support of the project.

Key Skills & Knowledge

1. Must be Degree qualified.
2. Chartered status highly advantageous though not essential.
3. Experience in Oil & Gas projects during either conceptual engineering, FEED or detailed design.
4. Experience working in a Client organization/role is essential.
5. Experience in other major energy such as Energy from Waste or similar will also be highly advantageous.
6. Previous site experience in conjunction with a design background beneficial.
7. Planning and organizing, communication, team working and problem solving.
8. Good level of numeracy, literacy and IT knowledge.
