We have a successful partnership with our clients and we are looking to recruit an Area Cleaning Supervisor on a part-time basis. You'll be required to work 32.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday.

Alongside supervising the delivery of the contractual cleaning service, it will be your responsibility to co-ordinate a small on-site team of cleaners, ensuring the supervision of onsite cleaning to ensure provision of an effective and efficient service in accordance with customer requirements across multiple sites. Other duties will also include:

• Carry out routine and non-routine cleaning duties as and when required in accordance with the cleaning specification and to the desired quality.
• Organisation and monitoring of staff under their supervision to ensure achievement of relevant cleaning standards through Quality Monitoring audits.
• Arrange staff cover for absence through sickness and holidays etc.
• Responsible to the Area Operations Manager for the discipline of employees under their supervision.
• To complete all relevant documentation relating to HR, payroll and building service information, such as timesheets, variations, and additional work sheets.
• Assist in the interview and selection of cleaning staff and arrange on-site induction.
• Maintain effective communications with staff and customers, ensuring good customer care procedures.
• Ensure good staff morale.
• Responsible for the ordering of cleaning materials/equipment necessary to deliver the cleaning service.
• Identify staff training requirements.

Our Successful Candidate:

You will need to be able to demonstrate some commercial experience within a commercial cleaning environment, alongside some experience of supervising or leading staff, although this does not need to be within the industry.

Alongside this, you will:

• Have previous cleaning experience.
• Be able to confidently engage with clients and members of the public.
• Have good organisational skills, capable of managing your own and others' workload.
• Have a good eye for detail, and be able to maintain high levels of customer service.
• Previous supervisory experience would be beneficial.
• Full UK driving licence - mileage will be covered.
