Qualifications

  • Several years' experience in a similar role, preferably in high-end residential.
  • Strong AutoCAD skills and knowledge of UK Building Regulations.

Architectural Technologist

Location: Nantwich

Salary: £27-37,000 DOE

An established, design-led architecture studio near Tarporley is seeking an experienced Architectural Technologist to join its close-knit team. Specialising in high-end residential projects across the UK, the practice delivers bespoke, detail-driven homes that reflect the unique aspirations of each client. This role offers the opportunity to be involved across all project stages, from planning through to on-site delivery, with real input into the future of the studio.

Daily Duties
  1. Produce technical drawings and specifications for planning, tender, and construction.
  2. Manage Building Regulations submissions.
  3. Coordinate with engineers, consultants, and contractors.
  4. Attend site visits and client meetings.
  5. Support project management and contract administration during construction.
  6. Maintain drawing standards and stay up to date with technical regulations and materials.
Ideal Candidate
  1. Several years' experience in a similar role, preferably within high-end residential.
  2. Strong AutoCAD skills (SketchUp and Adobe Suite are a plus).
  3. In-depth knowledge of UK Building Regulations and construction detailing.
  4. Confident communicator with excellent coordination skills.
  5. Able to manage workload independently across multiple projects.
  6. CIAT registered or working towards preferred.
