Job description

We are currently representing an award-winning Architectural Practice based in Newcastle that is actively seeking an Architectural Technologist to join their expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for an Architectural Technologist to develop their career within a well-established, talented team with an exciting pipeline of work.


Our client specialises within the Commercial, Residential and Leisure sectors, but do also cover a wider array of projects and sectors. Projects that the successful Architectural Technologist will be involved in will be small to large scale and will go up to £30 million in value. Key responsibilities will include:

  1. Preparing and reviewing architectural drawings
  2. Creating high-quality technical drawing packages
  3. Working closely with clients
  4. Attending site meetings
  5. Using Revit on a daily basis

The Architectural Technologist will be expected to have excellent Revit skills and also be a progressive individual.


Architectural Technologist Position Requirements

  1. Live within a commutable distance of Newcastle
  2. Knowledge of UK Building Regulations and modern construction
  3. Minimum 1 year's professional experience within a relevant role
  4. Highly motivated with an excellent work ethic
  5. Professional experience with Revit; Essential
  6. Excellent communication skills

Architectural Technologist Position Remuneration

Competitive salary (£28,000 - £40,000 DOE)
