Job description

Architectural Technologist

Location: London

Salary: £40000-£50000 (dependent on experience)

A fantastic opportunity has emerged for a skilled Architectural Technologist to become part of a highly respected RIBA-chartered studio located in the heart of London. This established practice operates across multiple sectors, including residential, leisure and masterplanning, and boasts an exciting pipeline of UK and international projects.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Technical design and development of projects
  • Involvement across all RIBA work stages, with a primary focus on stages 4 and 5
  • Preparing Building Regulations documentation, tender packages, and construction drawings (NBS and CAD)
  • Conducting site visits and inspections
  • Working on a mix of hospitality and residential schemes

Essential Requirements for the Architectural Technologist role:

  • Qualification in Architectural Technology (Degree, HND, or HNC)
  • CIAT accreditation
  • Extensive post-qualification experience
  • Strong technical design skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
  • Excellent understanding of UK Building Regulations
  • Experience with Vectorworks is advantageous
