Architectural Technologist

Bennett and Game have the pleasure of working on an Architectural Technologist vacancy for our internationally renowned client in their London office. This traditional Architecture Practice has a vast portfolio of beautiful projects with many more to come, so they are looking for an Architectural Technologist with a background of contemporary style, high-end projects. The firm specializes in the high-end sector, particularly working on new builds, Master planning projects, and refurbishments of listed and historic buildings; mainly within the Residential and Hospitality sectors.

The successful Architectural Technologist will lead a team of assistants and run exciting projects from inception right through to completion. Therefore, our client wants a personality that is adaptable and confident in the workplace, allowing them to assist others and make important decisions to ensure a high quality and efficient completion of projects. They are looking for someone to hit the ground running, so the most ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years proven UK experience of high-caliber residential or hospitality buildings. Strong communication skills are advantageous in this opportunity due to the client-facing and managing aspect.

It is important to our client that they recruit a suitable personality for their dynamic office. They are open to candidates with varied experience. Our client has a very high retention of staff due to their healthy and friendly office environment; they encourage all staff to be in the office, however, are flexible to people's requests regarding WFH.

Architectural Technologist Position Remuneration

• Competitive salary (£30,000 - £45,000 DOE)

Architectural Technologist Position Overview

• Produce technical details
• Create design and access statements
• Work on a variety of listed buildings
• Liaising with clients on site & attending site meetings
• Producing high-quality drawings on Vectorworks
• Consult with other professionals about design
• Coordinating projects
• Meeting with the council & other professionals
• Working on various exciting projects in the Hospitality & Residential sectors

Architectural Technologist Position Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience
• Knowledge of Vectorworks or AutoCAD software advantageous
• Good portfolio that can be displayed upon request
• Prior experience working in the Hospitality or Residential sectors highly advantageous
• Highly motivated & team player
• Excellent technical skills
