The Architectural Technologist Role

As an Architectural Technologist, you will be responsible for producing high-quality technical drawings and detailing packages, while ensuring compliance with UK Building Regulations and maintaining an awareness of the Building Safety Act. Working collaboratively with a talented team, you'll coordinate with other consultants and contribute to the successful delivery of projects.

Architectural Technologist Key Responsibilities

1. Produce detailed technical drawings and packages using AutoCAD and Revit (BIM).
2. Apply standard UK Building Regulations and maintain awareness of the Building Safety Act.
3. Coordinate with consultants and liaise effectively to ensure project success.
4. Contribute to the design and delivery of projects in sectors such as healthcare, care homes, and residential.
5. Work autonomously or collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.
6. Ensure technical drawings and detailing meet the practice's high standards.

The Ideal Architectural Technologist Experience

1. Degree in Architectural Technology or equivalent.
2. Over 3 years of experience in an architectural practice, working on various projects.
3. High proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit (BIM).
4. Broad experience in producing technical drawing and detailing packages.
5. Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations and familiarity with the Building Safety Act.
6. Confident in coordinating and liaising with consultants.
7. Flexible and positive approach, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
