Architectural Technologist

AIM Design are seeking an experienced and talented Architectural Technologist to join our award winning Dundee practice.

We are a design led award winning practice renowned for innovative exhibition and interior design based at Dundee City Quay’s waterfront. We currently have a broad range of work from bespoke high end private domestic work to public and private commercial work including exhibitions, visitor attractions, retail and offices with an expanding workload of exciting projects at all RIBA Stages. We are looking for an ambitious individual who can provide support and contribute to the delivery of projects as part of a creative collaborative team.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3-5 years-experience working in practice.
• Excellent working knowledge of Scottish Planning and Building Regulations.
• Experience and a thorough understanding of general architectural practice systems, design and construction methods and of all project stages.
• On site experience with ability to monitor site progress and coordinate project information.
• Strong design skills and technical knowledge with excellent detailing ability is essential.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Photoshop and Revit, 3D modelling skills essential.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
