Architectural Technician / Technologist

Salary: £30-40,000 Dependant on experience

Juniors with several years industry experience up to Senior levels are being considered

A well-established architectural practice, specialising in residential-led projects, is seeking a talented Architectural Technician / Technologist to join their friendly and supportive team. With a strong reputation for delivering high-quality residential developments, from bespoke housing to large-scale schemes, the company takes pride in its collaborative approach and attention to detail. The practice offers a welcoming and flexible working environment, with ongoing training and career progression opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Producing detailed technical drawings using AutoCAD
  2. Working on residential-led projects, from concept to completion
  3. Preparing planning and building regulation drawings
  4. Liaising with clients, consultants, and local authorities
  5. Assisting with technical problem-solving and construction detailing
  6. Ensuring compliance with UK building regulations and industry standards

The Ideal Candidate:

  1. Proven experience working on residential-led projects
  2. Proficiency in AutoCAD (essential)
  3. Strong understanding of UK building regulations
  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  5. Excellent communication and organisational skills
  6. Keen eye for detail and problem-solving abilities
