Architectural Technician / Technologist

Salary: GBP27,000 - 35,000 DOE

An established architectural practice in Newcastle is looking for an experienced Architectural Technician or Technologist to join their collaborative team. This is a 100% office-based role, offering the chance to work on a range of residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects across the UK. AutoCAD proficiency is essential, with Revit experience considered a bonus.

Daily Duties

  • Produce accurate and detailed technical drawings using AutoCAD
  • Support architectural teams across RIBA Stages 3-5
  • Assist with preparing planning and building regulation packages
  • Coordinate with consultants, clients, and contractors to support project delivery
  • Ensure all documentation complies with UK building regulations and best practices
  • Contribute to technical problem-solving and design detailing

Ideal Candidate

  • Several years of relevant industry experience in the UK; Residential experience essential
  • Highly proficient in AutoCAD (essential)
  • Experience with Revit (beneficial but not required)
  • Strong understanding of UK Building Regulations
