£33,000 - £40,000 + Great Progression + Training + Birthdays off

This is an exciting opportunity for an Architectural Technician to join a well-established, friendly team who are eager to assist each other's development. You'll work across a wide range of high-quality projects with real scope for progression, potentially up to ownership level over time.

This practice is well established, having grown steadily over time, covering sectors such as education, commercial, residential, care homes, and even stadiums. With a growing project pipeline, they're looking to bring in an extra Architectural Technician to assist with the continued growth plans over the coming years.

In this role, you'll be involved in developing drawing packages, writing specifications, and liaising with consultants and clients to ensure that projects are completed to a high standard. You will also complete detailed tender packages while gaining exposure to a broad range of project types from residential projects on luxury homes to educational and commercial buildings.

The Role:

1. Producing working drawing packages and detailed specifications
2. Supporting senior team members on projects
3. Liaising with clients and consultants
4. Preparing planning documents and detailed tender packages
5. Occasional site visits

The Person:

1. Proficient in AutoCAD
2. 2-5 years experience in Architectural Technology
3. Well-rounded understanding of UK building regulations
4. Strong communication skills and initiative
5. Based commutable to Guildford
6. Minimum of HNC level education in Architectural Technology
