Architectural Technician Job in Southampton, Hampshire

Architectural Technician job now available in Southampton. This role would see you producing working drawing packages on developer-led residential projects. Based in their office in the centre of the city, this role offers a competitive salary and hybrid working options.

Based in Southampton's city centre, this established practice is known for its expertise in developer-led residential projects, partnering with leading housebuilders. Offering a complete service, the team is split into planning and design specialists, ensuring expert delivery from concept to completion.

With a growing workload, they're seeking an experienced architectural technician with UK project expertise to join their team. This is a great opportunity to contribute to a practice celebrated for its strong industry connections and high-quality residential work.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Working on the production of working drawing packages
  • Projects vary between 30 to 300 units
  • Dealing with design issues on projects and finding technical solutions
  • Working under the supervision of project lead
  • Speaking with external consultants and clients
  • Using AutoCAD on a daily basis.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Have a minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience
  • Experience with UK residential projects is essential
  • Project experience in developer-led projects would be highly beneficial
  • Proficiency in the use of AutoCAD is essential
  • Revit ability is beneficial.
