Architectural Technician

Bennett and Game are currently representing an award-winning architectural practice based in Birmingham, who are seeking an ambitious Architectural Technician to join their ever-growing team. Specialists within a variety of sectors, our client works on both New Builds and refurbishments within the Transportation, Education, Community, Workplace, and Residential sectors.

Since establishing, our client has developed a tight-knit team of around 30 employees, consisting of a variety of technical and design-focused professionals. Joining a bespoke architectural practice, the successful Architectural Technician will be given the opportunity to take ownership of a project, assisting with all aspects of a project. Architectural Technician Job Overview

1. Represent the practice externally through client and consultant liaison
2. Use AutoCAD and Revit on a daily basis
3. Work across RIBA Stages 1-6
4. Work on a range of developments within the Residential, Educational, and Commercial sectors
5. Develop technical design approaches and bring experience to the realization of design concepts

Architectural Technician Job Requirements

1. Relevant Degree Qualified, Essential
2. Minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience is preferred
3. Living in a commutable distance of Birmingham
4. Proficient in AutoCAD; Essential
5. Excellent knowledge of Revit; Highly Advantageous
6. Good working knowledge of Photoshop and InDesign; Advantageous
7. Highly motivated with an excellent work ethic

Architectural Technician Salary & Benefits

1. Competitive salary, ranging from £28,000 - £45,000 (Dependent on Experience)
2. Holiday, 20 days + Bank Holidays + Christmas shut down
