We offer hybrid working with 1-2 days in the office. Our locations can be UK wide as a base office, with plenty of remote working.

About the opportunity:

We are looking to recruit and develop career minded people to bolster our well-established and growing multi-discipline engineering delivery capability to meet opportunities in the nuclear and defence industries. Our projects include developing solutions through all RIBA stages in highly regulated environments, in support of air, land and sea defence establishments, the UK nuclear submarine fleet bases and MOD infrastructure projects.

You will preferably have experience of working in the industrial area, some complex buildings, that house Subs, Ships, planes and military equipment.

  • Delivery of architectural design, assessment studies and technical documentation through all RIBA stages
  • Technical and professional guidance, support, and development of the necessary design work
  • Communication and co-ordination with other design team members
  • Assisting in the delivery of complex design projects

We’ll inspire and empower you to deliver your best work so you can evolve, grow and succeed - today and into tomorrow. We offer an exciting range of opportunities to develop your career within a supportive and diverse team who always strive to do the right thing for our people, clients and communities.

People are our greatest asset, and we offer a competitive package to retain and attract the best talent. In addition to the benefits you’d expect, UK employees also receive free single medical cover and digital GP service, family-friendly benefits such as enhanced parental leave pay and free membership of employee assistance and parental programmes, plus reimbursement towards relevant professional development and memberships. We also give back to our communities through our Collectively program which incorporates matched-funding, paid volunteering time and charitable donations.

Work-life balance and flexibility is a key focus area for us. We’re happy to discuss hybrid, part-time and flexible working hours, patterns and locations to suit you and our business.

Here is what you need:
  • Broad experience in industrial and/or highly regulated design sectors
  • Good all-round technical design expertise to British and international regulations and standards
  • Experience in the preparation and delivery of drawing packages and key project deliverables for complex building projects
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a wider team
  • Good level of proficiency in BIM Level 2 and Autodesk Revit
