Architectural Assistant - Part 1

As the demand for our expertise continues to grow, we now have opportunities for talented Architectural Assistant - Part 1. You will join our significantly experienced Architectural team based at our idyllic headquarters offices with over 200 staff in the grounds of Blenheim Palace - Oxford.

Projects include world class technical facilities, hotels, leisure and stadia buildings, education buildings, offices and private one off commissions.

Key Duties

1. Assistance with formulating the brief and communicating the brief effectively to colleagues as required
2. Carry out studies and design proposals for review
3. Cooperate with other members of the design team
4. Ensure design proposals conform to the latest building regulations and technical standards
5. Providing a practical and methodical approach to solving problems, working to fixed budgets and working within deadlines
6. Assistance with planning applications, Building Regulations
7. Inspection of building work on site

To be successful in this role, you will need to be an excellent communicator who can articulate complicated issues between our clients and our highly skilled project teams. You will also need to show ambition and a willingness to learn whilst demonstrating a high-level diligence and organisational skills.
