Architectural Assistant

A9 Architecture is looking for an experienced architect/ architectural assistant/ Architectural technologist to join its team in Essex.

Responsibilities:

• Possess outstanding design and presentation skills coupled with sound construction knowledge and understanding of UK Building Regulations.
• Ability to multitask, manage own workload, and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Archicad preferably (Revit and Autocad considered), hand-sketching, Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.

Candidates must have:

• A minimum of two years experience in a design-led UK practice.
• Knowledge of UK Building regulations.
• Experience of working on design-led residential and/or housing projects.
• A ‘can-do’, proactive attitude and the ability to work well as part of a team.
• An excellent academic record.
• Strong design and presentational skills.
• Working experience and an excellent standard of Archicad would be preferable.
• The ability to work and effectively communicate with clients and a professional team.
• The ability to manage their own time.
