Your new company
Hays are delighted to have partnered with a successful organisation in Moray who are looking to appoint an experienced Architect or Architectural Technologist to their business based in Elgin.

Your new role
Working closely with the company's MD, you will be responsible for a diverse range of commercial and residential projects, including industrial builds, warehouses, retail units and residential projects up to £2m in value.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Prepare detailed drawings, plans, and documents for statutory approvals.
  • Liaise with local authorities to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Conduct site inspections and arrange site investigations.
  • Working independently on projects.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Minimum of 5 years experience based in the UK.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD.
  • Good degree of technical competency with a detailed knowledge of Scottish Building Regs.
  • Strong independent worker.
  • Effective communication skills as this post will be client-facing.
  • Full, clean UK driving licence.

What you'll get in return
