Job description

Architect – Design focused with minimum 3 years’ experience post RIBA Part III.

Rodic Davidson are seeking an articulate, passionate and ambitious candidate to join its practice to work on exciting new projects in and around London. The candidates must have proven project running experience in a design-led practice, with strong technical ability and experience of working across all RIBA Work Stages.

Role and responsibilities:
  1. Client-focused with experience and ability to manage a wider professional team.
  2. Effective communicator with colleagues, clients, and team members.
  3. Capable of delivering projects from inception to completion.
  4. Skilled in producing drawn technical information competently.
  5. Knowledgeable and compliant with UK regulatory requirements, including Planning, Listed Buildings, Building Regulations, CDM etc.
  6. To mentor and support junior team members.
We are looking for an ambitious, design-focused architect who has:
  1. RIBA Part 3 (must have been undertaken in the UK).
  2. A ‘can-do’, proactive attitude.
  3. 3+ years UK experience in a design-led practice working on UK residential projects.
  4. Proven job-running experience and the ability to work concurrently on multiple projects.
  5. A comprehensive understanding of listed buildings, local planning policies and associated frameworks.
  6. Experience of working in Central London.
  7. Strong design and technical skills and meticulous detailing ability.
  8. The ability to work across all RIBA work stages.
  9. Excellent working knowledge of AutoCAD.
