A Day in the Life...

You start your day reviewing parametric façade studies, adjusting Grasshopper scripts to refine the structural efficiency of a complex roof system. A collaborative design workshop follows, where you work alongside engineers and fabricators to push a concept from digital prototype to fabrication-ready geometry. In the afternoon, you optimise a Dynamo script to streamline a workflow, automating repetitive tasks and ensuring seamless integration between design and BIM models.

As an Architect (or Architectural Designer), you will take a lead role in the digital design and delivery of complex medium-to-large-scale projects, working with computational design tools to optimise intricate façade, roof systems and much more. Your expertise in parametric modelling and digital workflows will drive efficiency, precision, and creativity across the studio’s flagship projects.

On a daily basis, you’ll be responsible for...

1. Computational Design & Digital Workflows – Utilising proven Grasshopper, Rhino, and Dynamo to develop innovative, high-performance architectural design solutions.
2. Complex Design Package System Development – Designing and optimising intricate building envelopes, layouts and more to ensure efficiency, sustainability, and aesthetic excellence.
3. Multidisciplinary Coordination – Collaborating with engineers, fabricators, and consultants to ensure seamless integration of complex geometries into real-world buildable designs ready for construction.
4. Custom Tool Development & Scripting – Supporting in-house digital design advancements, contributing to the development of parametric workflows and custom scripts for project delivery.
5. Technical Standards & Compliance – Ensuring designs align with industry standards, sustainability goals, and project-specific regulations.

What We’re Looking For...

1. Experience: You should have a minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant experience working on medium to large-scale, geometrically complex projects. Senior candidates are welcome to apply as there may be some flexibility to accommodate those that have more to offer.
2. Computational Design Expertise: Proven proficiency in Grasshopper, Rhino, and Dynamo, with additional experience in Python or C# scripting considered a plus.
3. Façade & Roof System Experience: Strong understanding of the design, optimisation, and detailing of complex façade and roof systems.
4. Technical Skills: Experience integrating parametric workflows into BIM platforms (Revit) and coordinating with engineering disciplines.
5. Problem-Solving & Collaboration: A proactive, solutions-driven approach with the ability to work independently and in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
