Architect

Farrells is seeking an architect to join its team in London.

Farrells are looking for talented architects with strong technical skills and experience producing architectural packages to join their London studio. We have a range of exciting schemes at technical design/delivery stages with a focus on mixed-use and residential developments.

We currently have multiple exciting, high density residential schemes in London and are looking for architects with a minimum of two years’ experience to join our growing delivery team. This is a great opportunity to oversee all aspects of the detailed design and construction process of large mixed used projects with a strong emphasis on high quality housing.

Responsibilities may include:

1. Work collaboratively in a design team through detailed design stages
2. Lead the coordination and production of technical architectural packages
3. Oversee and mentor junior staff
4. 2D and 3D modelling and technical drawing production
5. Attend and/or lead client meetings and/or coordination workshops

Qualifications and skills required:

1. ARB registration or overseas equivalent
2. Two to five years’ post-qualification
3. Experience working on residential London developments is preferred
4. Knowledge of UK Building regulations
5. Strong communication and presentation skills
6. Experience in producing architectural packages for tender and/or construction
7. Strong Revit skills
8. Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office
9. Knowledge of AutoCAD, in addition to Revit, is useful
