To deliver those services takes an enthusiastic and customer-focused team - and right now we are looking to recruit an Aquatic and Sports Courses Manager to join our team.
This exciting opportunity has arisen to lead the operational and commercial responsibility for all aquatics activity and revenue lines at Wyndley Leisure Centre, while managing our dedicated Swim teachers' team. This includes learn to swim (More Swimming Academy), school swimming, casual swimming & PAYG, swim club & external hire, and ticketed events (such as inflatables) & overall pool programme.
This role will drive the commercial growth and financial results of all aquatics activity and will be measured on core KPIs (inclusive of income, profit, cost, participation, length of stay & retention). This key role sits within the Senior Management team and is crucial to the business, controlling sports courses and swim teacher management is a huge part of this role.
You will help in facilitating a safe, fun, and professional working environment with free access to the leisure facilities, various discounts, and excellent development opportunities.
About you
To be considered for this role, it's essential that you hold a Swim England ASA Level 2 / or STA level 2 Award or Certificate in Teaching Swimming.
It is desirable that you hold a NPLQ / NRASTC award; however, we can put the right candidate on a course to gain this qualification.
This role is ideal for someone with a passion for swimming, controlling sports courses, and having a swim teacher management career.
