Apprentice Technician , Canterbury Kia

We are currently looking to recruit an Apprentice Technician to join the team at our busy dealership based in Canterbury, Kent. This is an exciting role with first-class training and outstanding long-term career prospects.

Duties will include:

1. Working alongside qualified Kia Technicians with the investigation, repair and service of vehicles.
2. Carrying out diagnostics.
3. Warranty work.
4. Assisting with MOT’s on Kia vehicles.
5. Other general technical duties and general housekeeping.

Excellent communication skills; passionate about the automotive industry; forward-thinking and keen to learn with an interest in development and progression; hardworking, punctual, reliable, ability to use own initiative, must have a ‘can do’ attitude.

Skills required:

Excellent communication skills; computer literate; have a keen interest in and knowledge of the motor vehicle industry; meticulous attention to detail; the willingness to also undertake basic duties as part of training; mechanically minded.
