Job description

We build over 15,000 homes a year and are now looking to grow our directly employed trade’s teams. What you will do:

Working as part of the Scaffold team, as an apprentice Scaffolder you will:

  • Erect and dismantle scaffolding safely and in a timely fashion for houses and, on occasion, blocks of apartments (up to 3-4 storeys).
  • Unload scaffolding equipment at the site.
  • Carry out scaffolding activities at the site in line with the Part 1 & 2 Scaffolding training and TWUK procedures.
  • Fix guard rails and safety netting.
  • Complete scaffolding erection and dismantlement after a job is finished.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant health, safety, environment, and sustainable development requirements.
  • Perform any other duties commensurate with the job role (helping out on site).

You will be required to attend College as necessary and complete all relevant coursework and exams.

What you will have:
  • Good sense of balance and a head for heights.
  • Great hand-to-eye coordination.
  • Organisational skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • CSCS card.
