Job Description

To maintain and repair the council's fleet of vehicles & plant.

Responsibilities

The maintenance & repair of vehicles and plant.

The Individual

Demonstration of an interest in vehicle maintenance.

1. 3 SQA Standard grades or equivalent at Level 3 or above.
2. Active listening and verbal skills for effective interaction with staff at all levels.

4. Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
5. Self-confidence.
6. Self-motivated.

8. Good interpersonal skills.

11. Tidy worker.

13. Ability to follow routines & instructions.
14. Be prepared to work in unclean areas of the workshop and stores facilities.
15. Flexibility to meet the needs and demands of the service as required.

Temporary - 3/4 Year Apprenticeship.

Closing Date: 11 April 2025
Starting Salary: £17,065.88 Craft Apprentice Scale
37 Hours per week.
