About the Role

Our well-established Apprenticeship programmes have seen many employees succeed and develop their careers. This two-year programme leads to a nationally recognized Level 3 Laboratory Technician qualification. Upon completion, you will be encouraged to apply for a permanent position at one of our sites.

You will report directly to our Quality Manager, who, along with her team, will invest time and effort in helping you make the most of this opportunity. You will also have a dedicated mentor to help you succeed at work and college.

What You Will Do

1. Serve as a role model for Safety and Quality
2. Perform routine laboratory tests according to test methods
3. Monitor quality test results
4. Observe and report any deviations in product quality
5. Report test results
6. Maintain lab equipment calibration with the Quality Engineer
7. Conduct trial testing of new products
8. Conduct GMP and Hygiene Audits

Who You Are

The ideal candidate will have:

1. At least 4-5 GCSE qualifications at grade C/grade 5 or above, including Maths, Science, and English
2. Be quality-focused
3. Be logical and systematic
4. Have Excel proficiency and report-writing skills
5. Documentation maintenance
6. Responsible and thorough
7. Fast-paced and hardworking
