An established industry player is seeking an Apprenticeship Coach to support vehicle mechanic learners in achieving their apprenticeship goals. This unique role involves visiting learners in their workplaces, leveraging your vocational experience to coach and assess them effectively. The position is full-time and offers a flexible working environment, allowing for remote work while requiring travel to various locations. The role
As an Apprenticeship Coach, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will play a vital role in the security of the nation and supporting the equipment used by the British Army. This includes the fleet management of over 50,000 vehicles, ranging from quad bikes and generators to main battle tanks, and weapons from pistols to cannons.
Day-to-day, you’ll visit vehicle mechanic learners within their workplace using your vocational experience and knowledge to deliver learning, coach, assess and support them to achieve their apprenticeship. No prior training experience required as we will look to develop you into the role.
This role is full time working 37 hours per week, offered on a 12-Month Fixed-Term contract and is fully remote. There is a requirement to travel to locations including but not limited to: Colchester, Ipswich, Kent and Woodbridge four days per week.
Agile working may be available to employees in some instances, applying the principles of fairness and consistency whilst ensuring that the overriding business needs can be appropriately met. We are happy to consider flexible, blended working, including part-time, condensed hours, and job sharing. Please ask about alternative patterns of work at interview.

Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain SC security clearance for this role as well as Enhanced DBS and Child Barring Service (EDBSCBL) security clearance for this role.
