Job Summary

A vacancy has arisen for an Appointments Co-Ordinator within the Ophthalmology Dept admin and clerical department to support the service.

The successful candidate will be based in the Clerks office which will be covered from 8am to 5pm daily from Monday - Friday.

Main duties of the job

This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated and enthusiastic person to take on a challenging and sometimes pressurised role. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills with the ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

Experience of working within the NHS and with the public is desirable. You should have a polite, friendly manner, and be able to deal with sensitive and confidential information professionally.

A minimum of 5 GCSE's Grade A-C (including Maths and English) or a minimum of 2 years NHS experience in a clerical role is required.
