We are currently recruiting to our Outpatient Departments at ESHT, the post for a 37.5 Appointment Clerk. The successful applicant will be based at Conquest Hospital.
The Outpatient Booking department is a fast responsive department, the successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate good written and verbal communication skills.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, IT knowledge, an ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team working to strict deadlines.
The department provides a fast and responsive outpatient appointment booking service. The applicant will be expected to ring and agree appointment dates with our patients as well as performing a rostered telephone sessions, depending on the service needs of the department.
The hours of the service operate between 8am- 6pm Monday - Friday, in shifts of 8.00- 16.00, 09.00-17.00 and 10.00-18.00 with Saturday working 9am -12pm on a rota basis.
