Applications Engineer - Aldershot Area - Machine Vision

An international engineering company specialising in machine vision technology is seeking a Technical Support Engineer / Applications Engineer to join their growing team.

As the successful Applications Engineer, you will have a passion for AI and emerging technologies and will have previous experience within machine vision, vision systems, sensors, or camera technologies.

The Package:

1. Salary - £40,000-£50,000 (DOE)
2. Bonus scheme
3. Private Medical
4. 25 days holiday + bank holidays
5. Pension 6% employer contribution

The Role:

1. Providing technical support to customers over the phone and via MS Teams
2. Visiting customers as and when required to provide product training and support
3. Providing technical support to the sales team
4. Performing feasibility studies in the laboratory
5. Supporting the sales team in Sensor and Machine Vision technology
6. On-site customer training in software and hardware

Requirements:

1. Must have previous experience working in sensors, cameras (Machine Vision / Vision Systems), optics, or similar
2. Will have worked in a technical support role previously
3. Must have a full UK driving license
